Introduction

Deployment​

Deployments allow you to manage part of our infrastructure on your side and all data is synchronized with Kora in real time.

Organization​

An organization can be used to manage a group of applications, devices and gateways. You can create different organizations with different purposes.

Application​

An application is a collection of devices with the same purpose / of the same type. Think of a weather station collecting data at different locations for example.

Gateway​

A gateway acts as a network router, routing data between IoT devices and the cloud. In kora we have two scopes for gateways. Within an organization to be used on a group of specific devices and with a global reach that can be used by all organizations in the company.

Device​

A device is the main part of the platform, it can be a soil moisture sensor, speed, rmp, temperature. There are a multitude of devices.

Forward​

In kora, we have the functionality to forward messages from your device to an external application, making it possible to apply filters by types of messages.

Decoder​

In kora, we have the functionality to decode messages from your device, so you can decode and filter the payload with the data that really makes sense.

AuditLog​

Kora provides a comprehensive audit log functionality, enabling you to meticulously examine and track all user activities taking place within your company. With this feature, you can gain in-depth insights into the actions and interactions of users, promoting transparency and accountability across your organization.
